Turner Construction Joint Venture Celebrates Topping-Out of $185M Texas A&M-Fort Worth Project

FORT WORTH, Texas — Turner Construction Company, in collaboration with joint venture partners CARCON Industries and Source Building Group, celebrated the topping-out (completion of vertical construction) of the Law and Education Building for Texas A&M-Fort Worth.

The eight-story, 238,000-square-foot facility will house professional programs, including Texas A&M University, Tarleton State University, the Texas A&M School of Law, and Texas A&M engineering, agriculture, emergency management and health sciences, a news release stated.

The building is designed to foster academic/industry partnerships that both prepare students for workforce success and generate economic development opportunity across the region.

“We are thrilled to celebrate the topping out of this project,” said Nick Barker, Vice President and General Manager at Turner Construction Company. “This milestone was achieved due to the commitment of the workforce and marks a pivotal step in creating a facility that will shape the future of education and workforce readiness of students. We deeply appreciate Texas A&M for giving us the opportunity to work on this project. Together, we are bringing their vision to life.”

Once complete, the new campus will become a hub for collaboration in all phases of business as well as a new home for the Texas A&M School of Law, supporting economic growth and preparing students to meet modern professional challenges. The project is scheduled for completion in 2026.
