Throughgood Bistro Opens at Hobby Airport

HOUSTON — Throughgood Bistro is now open in the William P. Hobby Airport (HOU) Ticketing Lobby.

The Houston-grown concept offers a menu that includes paninis, salads and sandwiches. Its full bar showcases selections from local breweries and Texas distilleries.

“Throughgood Bistro is a perfect addition to Hobby Airport, not just because of its great menu, but because of its mission,” said Libby Hurley, assistant director of concessions for Houston Airports. “Houston Airports is committed to providing a world-class experience, and that means offering dining options that reflect the heart of our city. Throughgood Bistro does just that—it delivers Houston flavors with a purpose.”

“We are honored to collaborate with Rudy Rasmus in supporting the Bread of Life’s incredible mission while working with local small businesses at ThroughGood Bistro”, said Sal Mendola, director of brands & concept development at Areas USA. “Partnerships like these embody our spirit of hospitality and commitment to help eradicate homelessness in Houston.”

Phase 2 Dining Expansion at Hobby Airport

Throughgood Bistro is part of Phase 2 of Hobby Airport’s dining overhaul.

The final two concepts of Phase 2—Chick-fil-A and Pei Wei—are set to open near Gate 1 in the West Concourse before Spring Break.
