Award Recognizes Houston-Area Minority Construction Firms
The Houston MBDA Business Center, operated by Houston Community College, held its 4th Annual Salute to Minorities in Construction Luncheon. The event took place, Wednesday, July 11, 2018, at the Junior League. The event honored construction firms, advocates and organizations that support them. This yearโs keynote speaker was Gregg Reyes, president and CEO of Reytec Construction Resources, Inc. Five honorees were recognized for their commitment to excellence, innovation and hard work in Houstonโs construction industry.
The Honorees included:

- Tandelyn Weaver of The Kingdom Buildersโ Center, Construction Contractorsโ College
- Roger Pombrolย of Emerald Standard Services, Inc.
- J. Paul Johnsonย of Skilled Construction Services Unlimited
