DALLAS/FORT WORTH — Skanska, one of the world’s leading construction and development firms, announced the hiring of Rosalyn Asher as Regional Supplier Diversity Manager for Texas.

Rosalyn will steer supplier diversity for the state of Texas and be instrumental in continuing Skanska’s efforts to promote and successfully use small businesses in the region’s building projects. Asher will provide training for project staff and subcontractors about disadvantaged business enterprise (DBE) program requirements, while also collaborating with internal teams to further support and communicate the impact of the program.

Over the last 16 years, Rosalyn has overseen and managed minority and/or women-owned business enterprises (MWBE) and DBE programs for various organizations. She was previously the MWBE Program Manager for Acari Management Group.

“Over the last year, we have worked to scale up our Supplier Diversity team to support our national operations in a more effective way, and Rosalyn is a dynamic addition to the team,” said Joycelyn Yue, national director of supplier diversity for Skanska USA Building. “Through her passion and expertise in promoting and engaging with diverse firms, Rosalyn will play a pivotal role in advancing Skanska’s commitment to supplier diversity in the Texas region, where businesses of all backgrounds have equal access to opportunities. We eagerly anticipate her contributions to our inclusive business practices, as we expand our efforts and outreach to diversify our supplier and subcontractor base.”
