“Turner leadership is driving a workplace environment where people can be at their best, be authentic, and are treated with respect and dignity,” a news release from the company said. “Turner is committed to supporting the communities where the company does business. It is dedicated to improving the economic viability of under-represented business enterprises and expanding opportunities for local minority, women, and small-business enterprises through the projects Turner builds.”

The company says it is strengthening its position as a leader in the North American market and is growing its presence in Asia and India. It is expanding in Europe with a focus on serving clients in the advanced technology market and it is strategically growing its value-added solutions such as SourceBlue and the Turner Engineering Group.

“We want every person who steps into the Turner workplace to truly believe they are contributing to, and have a sense of belonging to, something extraordinary,” said Peter Davoren, President and Chief Executive Officer, Turner Construction Company. Davoren continued, “As we reflect on our work in building significant projects in our communities, we recognize that the most lasting, rewarding, and life-changing work we do is the progress we make in building a more just society.”

“The people within an organization remain its greatest asset, and I truly believe employee wellbeing trickles down from the very top,” said Christian Sutherland-Wong, Chief Executive Officer, Glassdoor. “Glassdoor’s inaugural list of the Best-Led Companies showcases shining examples of companies where senior leadership is putting work, life, and people first.”
