Gilbane Earns Top Ranking as One of America’s Greatest Workplaces for Diversity

Gilbane was recognized as one of “America’s Greatest Workplaces for Diversity 2025″ by Newsweek.

According to a news release, the list spotlights the top large and mid-size companies recognized for fostering an inclusive culture and respecting and valuing individuals from different walks of life.

Gilbane reportedly received the highest possible rating, five stars, based on an independent evaluation that included analysis of publicly available data, interviews with HR professionals, and an anonymous online survey of more than 339,000 individuals and over 4.8 million company reviews collected in the last three years.

“We are thrilled to be recognized by Newsweek for our exceptional culture that champions inclusion and belonging,” said Katherine Johnson, Gilbane’s Chief People Officer. “Supporting a workplace centered around an inclusive work environment, all employees feel valued, respected, and included. We believe that when diverse voices and perspectives come together, we support innovation, collaboration, and a thriving place of work.”

Gilbane says it has prioritized achieving and maintaining pay equity, offering holistic and inclusive benefits, inclusive recruiting, and supporting a robust network of employee resource groups with over 45% companywide participation.
