DLR Publishes Notice of Intent to Review Electricians Administrative Rules

The Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (Department) is reviewing the Electricians program rules located at Title 16, Texas Administrative Code, Chapter 73 for re-adoption, revision, or repeal.

The Notice of Intent to Review was published in the Texas Register on December 16, 2016 (41 TexReg 9984).

The Department will determine whether the reasons for adopting or readopting these rules continue to exist by answering the following questions for each rule:

  • Is it obsolete?
    • Does it reflect current legal and policy considerations?
    • Is it in alignment with the current procedures of the Department?

The Department encourages anyone interested in the Electricians program to review the Notice of Intent to Review online at https://www.tdlr.texas.gov/electricians/elecreview.htm and the current program rules online at https://www.tdlr.texas.gov/electricians/elecrules.htm .

TTDLR to Review Chapter 60 Procedural Rules of the Department

The Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (Department) is reviewing the Procedural Rules of the Commission and the Department located at Title 16, Texas Administrative Code, Chapter 60 for re-adoption, revision, or repeal.

The Notice of Intent to Review was published in the Texas Register on December 16, 2016 (41 TexReg 9983).

The Department will determine whether the reasons for adopting or readopting these rules continue to exist by answering the following questions for each rule:

  • Is it obsolete?
    • Does it reflect current legal and policy considerations?
    • Is it in alignment with the current procedures of the Department?
