Most Park & Ride Services Suspended Through Memorial Day Holiday

Safety 1 scaled scaled

HOUSTON — METRO will continue to suspend most Park & Ride services through Memorial Day as cleanup efforts continue in the downtown Houston area.

The authority has redirected resources to provide transportation services to crews working to restore power. Park & Ride routes serving the Texas Medical Center will remain operational on their regular schedules. Other service adjustments are as follows:

  • METRORail: Red Line will operate regular service from Burnett Transit Center to Fannin South Transit Center. Due to an area power outage, bus shuttles will continue to be provided from Burnett Transit Center to Northline Transit Center. Get the latest METRORail update here.
  • HOV/HOT Lanes: U.S. 290 HOV/HOT lane will remain closed through Monday, May 27.

Customers with questions or those experiencing service issues should call or text METRO Customer Service at 713-635-4000 for assistance.
