Rice & Gardner Consultants Inc.

When Rice & Gardner Consultants Inc. was founded in 2005, it began as an opportunity for Jim Rice and Kevin Gardner to merge a set of complementary services: program management and building commissioning. However, more importantly, the company’s inception was based on a vision: to truly serve their clients and the communities in which they worked, both in the Houston area, throughout the state of Texas, and beyond. They wanted their business efforts to also be an influence for positive change. This common value can be seen through both business and personal ventures undertaken by the firm, with President, Jim Rice, leading the way.

Rice & Gardner may have started as just a two-person firm, but we’ve grown impressively – we were recognized four times in our first eleven years on the Houston Business Journal’s ‘Top 100 Fastest Growing Companies’ list, most recently in 2017. We are proud to be represented by a vibrant and diverse team of more than two dozen program and project managers, commissioning agents, licensed architects, professional engineers and others who offer our clients the benefit of multiple technical perspectives. Along with industry expertise and a belief in the work we do, our team also shares a common goal: to be Houston’s go-to firm for program and project management, building commissioning, facilities assessment, and beyond.
