VIA Metropolitan Transit’s Naco Pass Mobility Hub Gets Safety Upgrades, Facelift

SAN ANTONIO — VIA Metropolitan Transit’s Naco Pass Mobility Hub has reopened for service with upgrades, including improved boarding areas, repaved sidewalks, designated crosswalks, lighting and real-time arrival information.

Bus, VIA Link and VIAtrans service resumed at the hub on Wednesday, November 6, following road construction of the NacoPass and Uhr Lane intersection for the improvement of passenger comfort and safety, as well as ease of operations, a news release stated.

The Naco Pass Mobility Hub will reportedly serve more than 1,400 passengers each day as they transfer between VIA Routes 9 Broadway Frequent14 Perrin Beitel Skip, and 502 Thousand Oaks, with direct connections to VIA Link Naco Pass and VIA Link.
